Yeerongpilly Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) is an Education Queensland facility for young children with a hearing loss from birth to pre-prep. We are situated in a modern, purpose built facility on the grounds of Yeronga State School. Yeerongpilly ECDP is a free service.
We offer a range of family-centred programs with specialised staff to support children’s growth and development. These programs are based on research, current technology and the vast experience of staff. Communication and language development is fostered through a range of choices that are specific to the needs of the child and family preference.
Our communication choices include, auditory - oral, spoken language in combination with Auslan, bilingual - bicultural, all-inclusive communication system
Our programs are supported by therapy services provided through the charity Hearing Impaired Children’s Therapies Incorporated (HICTI).
