Yeerongpilly Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) is a Department of Education program for young children from birth to pre-prep with hearing loss. It is located in a modern, purpose-built facility on the grounds of Yeronga State School.
ECDP offers a range of family-centred programs with specialised staff who support the children’s growth and development. The programs are based on research, current technology and the vast experience of our staff. Communication and language development is fostered through a range of options that are specific to the needs of each child and their family preferences.
Available communication options include, auditory-oral, spoken language in combination with an Auslan, bilingual bicultural, and an all-inclusive communication system. Our programs are supported by therapy services provided through the not-for-profit organisation, Hear For Kids.
